Post did anyone get there MRT stuff?

I ordered headers and a dual tip exhaust from them over a year ago (i was on the 1st list) for $420 or 460. It seems like everyone got them but me. I emailed MRT to no avail.. I'd really like my exhaust/headers.. they sound like they are great. thanks a lot

Weird!! did you look up your name on the original groupbuy list and present that to them? Did you pay them?

I have had contact with Marcus within the past month and I just ordered my MRT exhaust and was told it will be here within 3 weeks.

Have you talked to the original Group Buy Promoters?

just b/c I stopped visiting i-club doesn't mean I shouldn't have an exhaust. Someone owes me 460 bucks or an exhaust/header. will whoever is in charge of this now (is MRT still in business) please send me an email at [email protected]. thanks

Question

Bret,
it wasn't because you stopped visiting I-club, it was however because you failed to reply to emails, pm's, etc... If I had 460 out (which I did) I'd try to follow the thread that contains the info, I'd reply to emails about it, and I'd also have my exhaust ( which I do). I'm really not trying to be a prick. But, this is what? nearly a year and a half after the gb, at least 10 monthes since the conclusion of the GB. I personally don't have any knowedge of where your exaust went, but it's prolly something you should have been worrying about a long time ago... I hope you are able to resolve your issues...
MRT is still in business, and given some time, I'll be able to track down the email address of the guy who completed the group buy. You do recall Kyle the a-hole completly disappeared, and we were completly up a creek... anyways.

that's the only I guy I do remember.. kyle thurber right? The last thing I heard from someone (God knows who) told me that "MRT went out of business...everyone's screwed" Which led me to believe that it was the credit card company I had to take it up with. I'm still 460 short, I appreciate you trying to get that email, I"m really frustrated. I never recieved ANY emails.. as far as PM's, I don't know. If you could just give me a contact name so I can get my exhaust or my money back would appreciate it. I'm going to email MRT again right now.

sorry.. but I didn't have internet access for half a year b/c I moved out with friends (I"m inly 19) and we didn't have any money.. I don't see how that should hamper me getting my exhaust. I know I gave a few people my phone number, mailing address and other contacts.

Bret - You're joking, right? It took you 16 months to start wondering what happened with the exhaust you ordered?!

The only person that would have had your phone number would have been Kyle Thurber. He up and disappeared 3 or 4 months into the group buy, at which point your phone number also disappeared. When Kyle bailed out, one guy here on the iClub (whose name I don't recall, and I know I don't have any emails from back then) attempted to the best of his ability to contact those who had signed on to the original GB. Some people, you being one of them, never replied to his emails or PMs. This would have been about a year ago, so your "I didn't have a computer for 1/2 a year" excuse doesn't fly. Those of us who did reply (I believe there were 13 of us all together) completed the group buy in late June/early July of last year.

I think at this point your only hope is to contact your credit card company to get your money back. MRT was not very happy with that whole group buy, as Kyle had promised a price they couldn't (or at least wouldn't) match. At this point I doubt MRT would honor that price, and I would guess you have no way of proving that Kyle ever gave them your money anyway.

In the future, don't wait 12 or 14 months to figure out why you never got anything for the $400+ you shelled out.

1st of all.. 1 year ago I DID NOT have a computer. 2nd, I agree with the fact that asking for my 460 dollar exhaust/headers is unreasonable.

gave up,

I can't seem to find the email, but I don't think it's revelant, your problem is tracking down kyle.... good luck. I hope it works out for you.
