I'm curious how it compares to Q300 powerwise being "straight-through" vs whatever Q300 is..although I guess being sideways negates the straightness
It seems like either definition would work.

I'm very curious to know what's going on inside the muffler. I'm kind of skeptical that it's actually straight through. I should have tried to stick something through it...

I have learned not to get attached to any of your exhausts, so I will NOT comment on this one and say how nice it looks.

If you ignore all the times I've swapped on the stock and SPT exhausts, then it really hasn't been that many. I think I will keep this for a while though.

Lol. I was wondering what you meant.

I don't really know. Once the EWG opens I don't hear it at all. Seems like it has a little sound but not a lot.

I thought this was some kind of "hip" term meaning does it get loud or growl when you're on it. lol

Haha, yeah, I thought it was something like that too. I was just going to go along with it. Then I would have looked dumb, lol.

I've only caught bits and pieces of your build thread, but is there a reason you haven't tried a Nameless exhaust since that seems to be pretty popular around here?

I have considered it, but the price of the midpipe doesn't seem worth it to me. I still think it does look nice. I like the tips a lot, but I like the GReddy tips even more because they are larger

Well larger tips won't be an excuse for much longer I guess, according to their thread they are working on 4" tips now.

Yeah, I don't even really like their in-house 3.5" ones though. The original (small) ones that they came out with looked the best, but they're very small.

You would have more drone too. Their BRZ setup is really nice though.

So you are tying out ones for look over sound? Just wondering. You have done damn near every CBE for the hatch. I love it, just wondei g why you are investing so much time and money into them. Again love the reviews , pics, and vids!

Flow, quietness (not tone/sound, necessarily), and looks are what I'm mainly gauging them on. I honestly don't care much how it sounds. A good tone is nice, but a completely silent one that flow like a 3" straight pipe would be ideal in my book. I guess fitment and ground clearance are also important.

I think I've mentioned this before, but there isn't really much of any money being invested. Just selling/buying and/or trading. I don't think I've spent much of anything since the first ones. Taking the time to swap isn't a big deal to me. I was just on a search for something that looked good, had good flow, and wasn't loud. I think this is the one.

Here is a quick "video" of the exhaust:

Unfortunately the video is just audio over still images. It was simply too dark for real video. Even at ISO6400, f/2.8, and 1/30sec shutter speed it was still nearly black. I had to use long exposure photos and the audio from the video clips.

As you can tell, this exhaust has a pretty mild sound signature. Especially paired with the EL headers it is very quiet inside the cab. It has zero drone at all. There is a little more noise outside, but it is not loud. The fit and finish is great, and the tips look amazing!
