Default Mad Props to XX Tony

Just fixed myself a big 'ol Tanqueray and tonic (lemon, not lime), but before I enjoy it, I want to praise ONCE AGAIN the boys at XX. Danny for always cuttin me good deals - he was even willing to sell me the tires off of his car, and especially Tony who tuned my baby for 104 tonight and gave me the single best ride home I have ever had. And it was in the pouring rain!

I must say though, I felt like one of Pavlov's dogs when a Tiburon blew by me at well over 100 - wanted to run...was salivating like mad - but reigned it in, saving it for the track! It's racing season boys and girls, let's not get stupid and tempted by idiots on the road.

Thanks again XX

Why would you be mad at the props they use at XX?

Or are you saying the props they use are mad?

If i am going to read a thread like that, i want some #'s. What were your #'s on the 104. Also list of mods would help. We all like to see what people are putting down and with what. Unless it is top secret for the track. They do an awesome job down there. by the way the props thing was really funny.

Was doin 220whp and 238 torque. No internal engine mods, just a stromung turbo cat back dual tip - completely legal car. Well, obviously a UTEC.

I know, I know, it is far from beast numbers, but the smoothness, timing, total pull from 1500 rpm straight through 6000 is sick. Tony tuned it specifically knowing Im auto-xing.

Catch can, perrin end links, front and rear sway bar - that's it.

Next week Im putting on Carbotech pads, new stainless steel lines, fluids, S-tech springs, and engine and tranny mounts.

Oh and BTW - I cant believe how quickly the posts of obscure photos pop up on this board...

The props was fan-freakin-tastic.

Cool. Enjoy your car! You'll really like it with the stainless lines and mounts. Dunno much about those springs on stock struts.

Hey thorn! Lemme tell ya. Came out beautifully. I am so psyched to have the rest of my stuff put on next week. Dont have many mods, but everything XX recommends just seems to make my driving experience leaps and bounds better.

Are you gonna buy that front lip or what?

No, I won't be buying the front lip. I'll wait for a while until my front end get beat up a little more before I do any cosmetics work. Right now, I'm focusing on getting the titanium exhaust and saving up for engine management.
