Where can I get Anti-Lift kits Installed
Hi everybody. I'm from Secaucus, NJ. I can't find a place other than rally spec which by the looks of it is too far away for me to go just to get these things installed. Has anybody gotten theirs installed for a reasonable price (100 or so). I got a quote from a couple of places asking for 6 hours labor time which was almost 180$. I was one step from smashing their head against my car! Anybody?

It's not too difficult of an install although you would definitely need an alignment after it's over. If I remember correctly, it took me about 2 hours to install mine without a lift or a breaker bar. If you have the newer version, it may take even less time. It's really a pretty straight forward and simple install. The only thing that makes it difficult is the amount of torque that the nuts are tightened with. Maybe you wanna come down to NY when we have some install day. I'll be glad to help.

I have installed two sets of the ALKs one on my RS and one on Eugenes. The only hard part is braking the a couple bolts loose and that is easier if you have a cheater bar for your braker bar. Other than that it is a very easy procedur which is even easier with a second set of hands. The whole process should take less than 2 hours and if you have any problems or questions I would be happy to help you out.

Another trick without using an extension is to kick the bar with the socket secured.
