Default How to remove headlights on the 97-01 RS?

Is it hard to remove the headlights? Do I have to remove front bumper too? Any pics would be very helpful. Thanks

Default Easy

It's really easy. First lift hood. Then unscrew corner lamps from headlamps. Remove corner lamps by pushing them forward really hard. then look at grill, there will be two holes on either end of it. Push a flat head screwdriver down into the holes and wiggle it till your able to get the grill to unclip by bulling it backward and then up to remove in full. Now remove the wiring harness from the back of each unit. There will be two 10mm? bolts on the side of the headlamp where the corner lamp used to be. Make sure you look and remove the two going to the lamp and not the ones holding the fender on, it should be obvious. Do this for both lamps. Then go to the other end of the lamp where the grill was and you will see two more 10mm? bolts remove them from both lamps and they should just come free. Hope this helps it's really quite easy.
