We have tested the UTECs on the STi and they work. The STi UTEC will NOT work on a 06 WRX, nor will the WRX UTEC. Off the top of my head I can not think of any revisions that have come out to the UTECs that would make an older one not work.

I just went to TurbXS last w/e and they told me it wouldn't work because Subaru changed the pins on the 06 so that the WRX couldn't use something off of the STi but anyhow they have a harness coming out and it'll be here in appx another week and when it does they are gonna call me and they're gonna test it out on my car and tune it.

Well hopefully it will work. I don't see why it would not. Except for the pins. Did subaru change the ecu. If it is the same it may work. I was just curious to see if anyone has tried it yet.

Never really got a true answer on this. I am sure people have tried it now. Any answers would help?

Ummm Jarad told you it would work. If PDX says they tested it to work, then it WORKS.

Thanks and have a nice day.
