Default Lowered 2011 WRX/STi Sedans

Post pictures of your lowered 2011 Sedans and please give us the info on the suspension set-up, it being springs, struts or coilovers. I think this will help a lot of people decide on suspension upgrades. With the pics, please give us your honest impression of the set-up...

Good idea. There are so few options available right now for suspension drops on the 2011s, but if people add to this thread, it would be a good reference. As soon as I drop my 2011 WRX, I'll update. Oh! I have to update my vehicle info to the left!

Which ones did you get? NF210, DF210? Where'd you get them? I was looking at the NF210 as they look like they won't pound me to death with increased spring rates. Chicagoland roads are the worst in America.

BTW, you can host photos on Flickr now, which I believe is free.

debating whether or not to go with coilovers or just springs since I live in an area that sees snow for 5 months of the year.

check the FAQ section, go into newbies section, click on the FAQ sticky, and find "how to post/upload photo's" The short version of it is, you have to have the image hosted on a site (like photobucket, which is free, and easiest, and I'm going to say that's what you should use) Then once you upload the image onto photobucket, go "view album", and bottom left of the photo they should have an image tag HTTP address, something like [img]http://blahblahblahblahblah[img/] Just copy that tag and put it in the bottom of your post that you want to have an image in, and voila!

Here is a few dirty shots of the H&R coilover drop. 1.5" from factory.

I will get some better pcs when the wheels arrive.

Awesome! There aren't many reviews on the H&Rs, so I'm glad to hear that you like them. I'm looking at getting a set of those too

The car rides exactly like the stock STI really. Maybe a little softer on harsh pavement. Nose dive is negligible as well as reduced body roll. I have personally had tein, jic, cusco and koni/eibach combo. These have been the best for street use. The jic's are awesome on a track. That's why I got them for my V8 swapped 240sx. But for daily use the H&R is valved really nice. Plus with the struts being bilstein they should last as long as factory.

We don't have any of the '11 sedans here in Iceland but I got to see one with my own 2 eyes the other day when I went for a quick flight over to europe. They look so dope
