Took off the valve covers to replace the gasket ( 'twas leaking) and checked my valve lash while I was in there. Waaaaaaaay out of spec. Now I just have to wait until it warms up just a bit so I don't freeze my fingers off while working.

I did the custom front lip snow plow mod then just kicked it the rest of the way off.

The lip is still usable and will go back on at some point only to rip off again

Not bad for a $47 ebay replica

You may or may not have guessed right lol

After that's done it's time to readdress the bay and take it to the next level. Btw, have any suggestions for a solid powdercoater in the area?

Swapped my wheels and put on my stocks. I cracked on of my Gram Lites on a pothole. While I was at it, changed the front brake pads and changed out my bad ARP wheel stud. I also rinsed off the salt.

Whats needs to be done?

I had to replace the drivers side axel on my lifted 99 OBS. The original cv was mangled after 202000 miles

Took about 27 minutes from start to finish.

Got it started.

This morning was just too cold. It has some gnarly piston slap even in the summer.....so right now at 6*F it is noisy.

Also got my engine stand assembled so I can get the ej205 bolted to it and start tearing it apart this week.
Edit:
Got the ej205 on the engine stand yesterday. Teardown starts this weekend.

Picked up this STI FHI titanium strut bar from a member here a bit ago. The endplates were a little beat up and so was the hardware so I had a good friend of mine powdercoat the ends white pearl and he found some really nice stainless hardware. Finally went on last night and looks amazing!
