Who needs a car in Tokyo?

Default Legacy STi? Another "my dealer said..."

Just another rumor and such. I went in for an oilchange today and wandered over to the lot to drool over Legacy GTs and STis when one of the dealers came up and talked to me. It's the same guy that I've talked to every time I've been in for an oil change, and he mentioned that there will be a Legacy STi within a year or two (not an 06 model... but maybe a midyear 06 model). He said that he was in a 4 hour Subaru meeting and it was dreadfully boring up until mention of the Legacy STi.

He said that it will have a Turbo H6 and 350HP.

Take it for what you will.

Default I have no doubt whatsoever...

that sooner or later a Legacy STi will show here. The question is when? I say when the Legacy gets its mid-life facelift, in a couple of years.

along with the mid life facelift it will probably convert over to the airfoil grill i predict.. the engine i would think would be a tuned down version of the B11S concept

i think they still have to decide how to package the legacy STi - what kind of options, how much performance over comfort - will it have DCCD, maybe a race/sport/normal suspension settings in the car
if they r going up against other performance sport sedans, how would they price it. SO many questions
And would they have a wagon version akin to the RS4 avant?
