Default Popping sound, front passenger side.

Hey guys, i'm getting a weird metallic popping sound coming from the front passenger side. Doesn't matter if i'm turning or going straight. The sound is faint but seems to be more noticeable on deceleration, not sure if that is due to the exhaust just drowning it out during normal driving tho.

Got the car up on jack stands but, couldn't replicate the sound by pulling on the wheel and was able to spin the wheel freely in either direction with no issue. Also checked endlinks (kartboy) to make sure they weren't loose.

Noticed that my ball joint boot was blown on the passenger side, could this be culprit? I know diagnosing sounds over the internet isn't ideal, but anything you guys can think of is appreciated.

If the ball joint boot is ripped it needs to be replaced anyway. Take a video of the sound if you can

It could be a bad strut knock? How old is the suspension?

Struts are new, just replaced all four last year. Got new ball joints just haven't put them in yet. Hopefully that solves it.

Ball joint Most likely the culprit.

Not that this helps so much, but I'm experiencing a similar sound....although not as much of a pop, but a click sound. Suspected ball joints. Replaced with OEM...no change

I captured a video of the sound a while back, but I don't have a video hosting account.
