Anyways, got tints and my roof wrapped. Hope my style is still within tasteful boundaries. Dat OEM+ look.

Here's it is when I got it and now.

About to do an oil change within the week. Still not sure to go with synthetic since I have no idea what this car came with.

Also threw on an HKS panel filter, made a bit more noise and perceived power. Then took off the intake milk jug and got ALOT more noise lol. This is supposed to be a bad thing on MAF N/As but so far I've only had better response besides the noise. I haven't hit A CEL or noticed any negative effects yet.

-Will look into a decent exhaust yet. Maybe OEM rep resonated mid pipe and a decent axle back.
-Deciding on spacers... 53mm offset on the Prodrive P1s I think. I was gonna go 3mm but I'm not sure that's noticeable. Any more and I'd have to get longer wheel studs.

Fill up the gas tank...

Seriously...

good set of tires... not talking about A/S tires here. :/

Then upgrade the proper suspension... add RSB & upgrade springs & shocks/struts... not talking about slamming it w/ cheap coilover here. :/

If you're asking about power mods, then sell the car & get something else... like WRX.

Didn't have the money for a wrx, and besides, I'm not looking for much power as its a daily driver. Just want some nice visual mods to stand out from the rest of the cars on the road.

I hear ya.. but you're also trying to mod one of the most modded tuner cars on the road.

Keep it clean, avoid mud flaps, get real wheeels, and lower it correctly.

Depends how much money you are willing to put into it. You can mod lips for WRX/STi to fit (it's a cheaper option), or you can get any 08-10 wrx body parts, aftermarket or otherwise.

Of course, also get some wheels and suspension. If you want some power/ sound, get a nice panel filter (and if you want, pop out the milk just like I did on mine). Exhausts for 08-10 WRX's fit as well but will sound ricey if not resonated.

It's really up to you on how you want it to look, so not many advice other than what I just gave you. Drive the car to its potential, learn the characteristics of awd (understeer/ stability). It also doesn't make its stock, bland looks better.

Also does anyone know if all 2011 base models came with the Fuel Consumption Info in the clock/ temp cluster? I could have sworn I had seen it when I bought it but after resetting the ECU by battery as well as the turn key on pos1 and hold the "=" button, I still dont have it. Maybe I was just crazy for thinking it had one in the first place.

Nope, just 08-10 were the slim bodies and have interchangeable pieces. 11 switched to the STi widebody style.

Anyway, '08 2.5i checking in here.

Current mods are:
Hybrid intake
Wrx midpipe
Borla muffler delete
Wrx suspension
Mishimoto rad hoses
Hella supertones
Blacked headlight housings
Rear lights smoke tinted (hate this, previous owner's idea)
Hitch (motocross)
Sti front/rear seats

Edit: 132k on the odo. Since hitting 100k I've only done oil, oil filter, cabin filter, cleaned air filter, iridium plugs, seafoam thru intake/gas tank/oil and installed the exhaust/hybrid..

Thinking of refreshing tranny/diff fluid, definitely need to do bushings, and it seems like I've still got the original radiator on. Never had any shifting problems though, running max life 5w30 and since i began running that (seems like previous owner used **** for oil) the care feels much better.

Never had a single issue except corrosion on a plug where it plugs into the ignition coil.. Should probably fix that first.

Just reset your trip A or trip B and it will auto populate up there.

wow holy crap, did not know that. Got to see the fuel consumption for the first time since the first test drive! much appreciated!

Also, does anyone have any experience with Accessport and the 2.5i? I heard they stopped making them, but is it possible to use any accessport for 08-14 WRX and download the N/A maps elsewhere?

Another 2008 2.5i owner here. It's the color blue that Subaru puts onto their base models. So far, I swapped out the OEM headers out with a 2004 WRX header. So far, I'm stressed about buying and wondering if 2004 WRX catalytic converters can fit because I don't have a front catalytic converter at the moment with a CEL.

My plans for my 2.5i is offroading. I want to try to lift it with F-XT suspensions, or just go with spacers, or even do both! I want to get 15in rims, preferably Method Race Wheels with Grabber tires. I want to upgrade the connecting rods and crank for more torque. As for the exhaust, I am struggling with a 2004 WRX header on an N/A 2008 2.5i haha. Send help.

Typically they will need custom welding to get them collectors to fit the rest.

Clutch & brake pedals (part no. 36024FA010) are just cover... Accelerator (part no. 36010AG150) is the whole DBW unit but still very easy... 2 bolts & unplug. Bought them off eBay. Clutch & brake pedal covers were new $35 for the pair and accelerator was used $30 (off 08-14 WRX/STI).

Yeah... I can't find a part number for it. That's weird. Now I'm starting to question if I have an aluminum dead pedal... I gotta go look.

Yes. Subaru made 2 front lips for 2.5i... both aren't cheap:

Front underspoiler (part no. E2410FG000) MSRP $275
This one is painted matched as bumper

STI front lip spoiler (part no. E2410FG100) MSRP $369.55
This one is just black plastic unpainted w/ a little shiny 'STI' plate

Other cheaper options? Of course...

DIY garage door lip

Modified BaysonR 08-10 STI front lip

There's also aftermarket version of front underspoiler from eBay, but still have to paint it to match your bumper. Here's one belongs to KartRacer3

3mm is the max on stock studs. Any good reason to run spacers? If not, get the wheels w/ proper offset.

I'm thinking of trying the fog light DRL mod in these upcoming weeks, hate using the high beams as DRL.. Awful design FTL.

I dig those lights a lot, Fendy. They look like they belong there unlike the full LED bar that is taking over the world right now.
