I would not buy a GM car that made in China. I want to support GM if they make a decent car and made it here in the US. If they shift their production to China then there is no reason to support GM. Buying from other country because we can not make a decent car is bad enough; from China is worst, I have too many made in China stuff already, don't want to send them more money.

Kind of feels like GM and Chrysler have blown their opportunities in the US. Years of sub-par products and inability/unwillingness to compete with foreign brands have driven consumers away and fortified a reluctance to return.
Unfortunately, there are enormous operating hurdles to clear before a new domestic automobile manufacturer can be established. |

i wonder what would happen when china get a hold of the LS1 / 3 / 6 / 7 / 9 .....
made copies out of it ? chop it up and make v4 ? lets hope they'd think deermine v8 is too inefficent and leave it alone .... |

I guess we all better get used to buying Chinese and Indian-made cars. Will be very few produced in the U.S. soon.
