It only fits one direction, if you flip it the pressure plate cant touch the flywheel and it wont bolt up. Everything bled and runs fine, I pushed the clutch in and back the car up about 10 feet, put it in 1st and let the clutch out, car didn't move, the clutch spins/slips in every gear, even reverse, but last night when I backed the car up it was fine. I did everything by the book and I'm stumped.

Sorry - I'm still @ work and getting a bit punchy. I know this is a huge PITA - but if you're out of ideas, try putting the old one back in and see if it "works"... just to make sure nothing got screwed up while installing the new one. |

Did you check the clutch pedal adjustment/push rod length? Any chance you might have gotten some air in the hoses (not an issue if you didn't disconnect anything)?
Here are some links I hope might help ya: Troubleshooting: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=756067 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1746608 Install How-to: http://www.scoobymods.com/clutch-ins...81.html?t=2081 And a more general run-down: http://www.automotive-clutches.com/b...utch_info.html Last edited by avlcko; 06-07-2011 at 11:50 PM.
