It only fits one direction, if you flip it the pressure plate cant touch the flywheel and it wont bolt up. Everything bled and runs fine, I pushed the clutch in and back the car up about 10 feet, put it in 1st and let the clutch out, car didn't move, the clutch spins/slips in every gear, even reverse, but last night when I backed the car up it was fine. I did everything by the book and I'm stumped.

Its possible.

If i let the clutch pedal up, it grabs enough that i can feel/hear/smell it slipping, im ****ing clueless right now.

Sorry - I'm still @ work and getting a bit punchy.

I know this is a huge PITA - but if you're out of ideas, try putting the old one back in and see if it "works"... just to make sure nothing got screwed up while installing the new one.

Did you check the clutch pedal adjustment/push rod length? Any chance you might have gotten some air in the hoses (not an issue if you didn't disconnect anything)?

Here are some links I hope might help ya:

We thought it was the slave clyinder but the shift fork moves when the clutch is engauged,
Its a were sound when the clutch is released its almost compared to when your brake pads are gone and its metal on metal sound

and Mr. smallville your sister is going to be stuck in between my fly wheel if you know what i mean lol
