Unhappy Tranny Woes!

Yo all! Need some help with this one...our bud 2.5DOHC busted 2nd gear while setting records down here at our local autox track!
It slipped out, went back in and then abracadabra, it was gone! Sounds like he needs a new tranny? Thought so! Any of you got used trannies lying around? Please e-mail N.O.S.S. at [email protected] ! Thanks for y'alls help!

It's done. Second gear is the weakest link in the stock tranny. From what I understand it is offset a little, which causes the problems. Good luck.

Do yourself a favor and rebuild the original tranny with a hardened 2 and 3 gear. I just hope not too much debris went flying everywhere.

Thanks guys I'll pass on the info! Any idea how those gears come, like single gears or in a set with synchros? Any good retailers out there to check out? Mahalos!
