NA not worthy of FAQ Threads to note?
Seems like every other forum but us lowly NA guys/gals has a FAQ sticky.

Once search is back up, lets pull together the threads that should be considered.
1) I'm biased but I think the SPG should be one of them. 2) For the noobs, TORNADO info. 3) The recent $45 MY99 MAF solution |

I don't think the tornado deserves merit.
But generally it would be a good idea. I've read a lot of post of people complaining about noises, when it was the heat shielding all along... Spark Plug wires come up once in a while Spark Plugs themselves SPG would be good, since a lot of people are doing it. I measured all of the grounds in my car though, the resistance from battery negative to ground, and they all had almost 0 ohms. Good grounds! MAF info would be good Something about intakes too... Just my two cents. |

Place the "intake shoot out" thread, "How to install Pullies" thread, "Pullies or ProECM" thread, "Which is the best Exhaust" thread, "Exhaust soundbites", and where to buy all these goodies, in the FAQ. That should hit the spot for most peeps.

I'm just sick of seeing the same thing over and over again.
TORNADO is only one of a thousand repeat offenders. |

Exhaust for sure...
MRT vs Brullen vs Borla headers I'd say my "Great Intake Tests" should be too Maybe some gauge info Definitely the torque chip/ proecm stuff Anything with a dyno graph (excluding Iggdogs Tornado graph! ) Hmmmm...thinking... Talk of H6 or SVX motor swaps It would be great to have some sort of cylinder head FAQ some listing of 1/4 mile times... Thinking of more...brain fading...sleep calling...bed waiting.... Mmmmm....bed N...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |

This is the *first* time I've even seen this thread... this is why (if you should read the other sticky's I've made) it asks to click the "report this post to a moderator" to suggest an addition to the FAQ/TON sticky topics. Now that I've stumbled across it... on with the sticky. Please keep adding links to threads that should be added by clicking "report this thread to a moderator" in the sticky topic and give us the URL

Thanks North!
I just submitted a pile of threads for ya to add to the FAQ...some are somewhat...mmm...controversial (sp?) but I think they all contain a good degree of usefull information. I'm tempted to submit the "want to know how the Torque Chip/Proecm works?" thread 'cause it does contain a good chunk of usefull stuff...but...uh...it's none too pretty at times. Damn you Bugbomb! I almost think there should be two sub-catagories under the sticky for "intake threads" and "exhaust (header, cats, midpipe, can) threads". I'll have to dig up some cam threads as well...and flywheel and NOS. I can't wait until some n00b asks the dreaded "which intake/exhaust is best?" question and I can dump him off at the FAQ...Woot! Well, I wont' be able to take credit for those you request to be added. While I have been granted moderator and some admin powers all over the place, I'm only labelled "Moderator" in a few forums and only get the "reported post" emails in those forums . However, I see my esteemed colleague 8Complex has already added at least a few of the additions requested .
