Default Speedometer

Hey everyone

I have a spare MY96 LGT speedo head and board.

My99 LGT speedo craped out.

Took MY99 LGT speedo apart and there is a 5 pin green connector with 1 wire.

The MY96 LGT has 3 pin white connector with 2 wires.

note:
I've change the speedo board from MY99 to the MY96 as they are interchangeable (did my homework) and same result intermittent mph read so I really think the board from MY99 has been fried.

Can somebody help me out please with this conversion.
