Pretty damn good. Had some good and bad luck in the years since I’ve seen ya’ll, but I can’t complain too much. I was sorry to hear about your daughter.

Thank you so much for that! We miss her terribly...
But, on a positive, I was able to get her memorial tattoo finished up last week! YAY! only took 16 hours and 3 sittings, 8.5 hrs on Thursday...ouch!
I'll try to remember to post up a pic when I go out for lunch.

So what happened to the forums over the years? This place used to go off, and now it's like a ghost town!

I guess my member number is low enough to be considered an OG, but I only moved to TX 4 years ago and haven't owned a subaru while living in TX until a week ago. I picked up an 05 OBXT 5spd and a 2010 FXT. I used to be heavy into the MAIC forum from 2003 until 2013 or so.

idk...with a member number 40k? Pretty sure you would need to be under 4k!

j/k...you can be an OG! Also, a belated "Welcome to Texas!" to ya!

Someone asked about forums dying earlier and I can confirm. I bothered to post a thread in the 2.5 technical forum a week ago and ZERO responses.

Also, I picked up a 5spd baja last week so I've gone from zero Subarus to 3 Subarus in about 2 weeks

When I was in Houston the Subie scene was dying because it got taken over by the FB vape crowd. I sold my last Subie while there a few years ago. I've been back in Austin area the last 2 years. I'm currently all Toyota/Lexus stuff at the moment.

Still here, moved out to Austin in November to work for Celis Brewery, then covid, now back to machining and just closed on a home in Leander last Friday. Down one Foz due to ****ty Austin transplant drivers.

I check in every now and then to see what's going on. Seems once Facebook became popular this place became a ghost town.

BUMP

I got rid of my Subaru a long time ago. So with switching brands and then life, I never checked back in much. I seem to check the forums just after someone posts about where everyone has gone lol.

Most people probably figured I was drunk somewhere and left for dead.

I'm just wondering where everyone talks about Subarus now.

Bet...

Facebook is like WalMart. Came in and ruined our tight knit communities, and turned into a big turd.

We need meets again!
