you too Ralph, good bearings go a long way.

kings are good stuff. lets hope it stays together, not too many stroked 2.0's out there, the longer stroke puts alot of stress on the rod bearings. good luck hope all goes well.

Keep in mind that proper oiling goes the furthest. The toughest bearing in the world wont help if the oils not there. in theory when you need the strength the most that tiny layer of oil should be between that those metal surfaces. Once oil pressure is up the bearings should never have to see any real contact under any loads.

We have built a couple of 2.0 stroked motors for people. Absolutely love them.

Thanks Gabe... sticking to stock. Simple mods on this little engine, ported, polished and decked heads, torque grind cam, and higher compression pistons. Need that extra torque for hauling stuff

had to upgrade to a 2.5l oil pan because the Covert oil pickup tube does not fit the 2.0l pan apparently. Website says it works for both though. no worries in my book. what is needed is needed

Got my no alky/low boost winter tune done with Alaskan EJ20(Gabe) tonight. Fiddled with the intake avcs and it acts like a different car now. Torquey in the lower rpm's and opens up in the higher rpm's. Embarresed to say it but it feels like I got VTEC...

Well not quite sure. I'm fairly positive it's an STi motor but the single avcs one. Kiwi put a different motor in it when he sold it.
