You have mini d2s projectors right? You have any pics (low beams only)?

Yes I do, as soon as I get my led bar mounted I'm going to get pictures of everything but currently I do not, and both my cameras are sitting at Nikon waiting to be cleaned and whatnot, a cell phone just wouldn't justify. I am having a little difficulty trying to find a good way to mount this light though at the moment.

Give yourself a whole day and use LOW heat to slowly bake the lights open and to heat them to close them back together. Have a spare car available in case you need to make a food/tool/beer run. |

Thanks for the tips. I'll be doing this on an extra set of OEM lights so I can take my time.

Mine is still going strong. I lost a relay a few months back but it was a 15-minute, $5 fix.
I still say that properly-aimed OEM halogen housings with a low color-temp drop-in setup gave me better light penetration and density on low beam, but there is no good way to beat the bi-xenon output on high beam. |

I blacked out, did a quad projectors, and halos myself. I'd say try DIY to save some money if that's all you really wanted to do is retroquik kit, blacking out and halos.

hope everyone knows by now that you DO NOT have to disassemble housings....as mentioned earlier, unscrew the stock projectors apart, while in housing...then unscrew the four on the front...the rear portion of the projector is too big to come out the back...bust a bit of that bracket of the rear reflector/projector....bam out it comes....the front part of projector...bam, out it comes...the minimoto drops in...bam, done..
