Got an alignment and found out my rear driver side trailing arm has been bent for years and was the cause of my positive camber.

That's great, but I'm curious y u would buy a car at a point in time that u were not able to afford it unless u got a job back?

I guess that warrants explanation. I didn't buy the car. Wife bought it for me for xmas behind my back and surprised me with it on xmas morning. I went all of 2012 with a cheap car since we made a deal that I could get whatever I wanted in 13 if I did so, I bought and sold cars to flip and make money on but never had the car that I wanted. My wife drives a real nice tsx that is paid for, I made her drive my car for 1 day in december and well, that made up her mind I guess to get me a new car since I am the car person. When I say "can afford to keep my car" its not what it actually means to most. I can afford to keep this car without a second job beetween the wife and I's salary, but it will be cutting into the savings stash and college fund for my son. We are used to stashing around a grand to 1500 a month into savings/ fund depending on if I get overtime/my wife gets a bonus or what not and the car would be cutting into that. My son also started a new school who's tuition is not terribly costly but more than what we were used to last year so that was also going to be cutting the savings down. I didnt want to cut down our financial savings and not be able to put the same amount of money in the bank, neither did the wife so I was confused as to why she bought it for me, I guess cause I deserve it and wed still be able to put some good money in the bank. I wasn't too happy with that but I guess the wife driving my 91, 5 speed no cup holder civic popped her into reality that she has it nice and I was driving a basic car so she wanted to get me into a nice car again. I was very stoked to regain my previous position after talking with the boss yesterday at the paint shop so that now, I can cover the car payment, the extra fuel costs, insurance and my sons school tuition and even have a little extra money for possible track time/mods without effecting the savings we were able to put away.

Therefore=STOKED.

I totally hear you on the savings situation. Although myself I'm not familiar with that word, lol. I have four kids, my wife doesn't work, and I flip cars just to help pay the bills. I haven't had a single car for more than two months in the last two years.

Still have it for now. I'll be trading it in. The accident didn't happen here or with my bugeye. I got hit by a car when I was a kid, sued, got a settlement, put it in a structured settlement and was recieving checks every 2 years, requested to pull all the money out early, now I'm waiting for my sit down with the judge monday to have him to stamp his approval and the whole thing and then in 2 weeks or less I'll have my check. Check my "JEWBARU V. 2.0 PROJECT" THREAD. All the info is there
