Those are trees in the reflection

But, I agree, the STi better blow us away with the disappointment with the new Impreza series spreading like wildfire and the Youtube video of the MS3 kicking the living crap out of the 5-Door WRX in handling.

I'd bet some coin that it's the STi in the WRX shell with the fenders rolled to accomodate the wheels/suspension.

edit: check out the different seat stitching as well as all of the buttons below the si drive wheel

In these spy photo's they never get what we want to see. Where is more shots of the interior like the DCCD controls... why not get on the ground and take some shots from underneath and while your down there some close-ups of the brakes?

Looks legit to me.

However, this is probably a drivetrain test mule and not the actual body work we will be seeing.

+1 for test mule. Just look at how much those tires are sticking out of the makeshift flares.

And yeah, it's probably limited cause it has the radio controls on the steering wheel. I think all WRX STIs will share the same body (at least I hope so).

It looks like it has turn signals in the side mirrors.

Also, I would think the final production version would have side skirts.

The wheels don't have that STI look to them at all.

I sure wish we had a pic of that car from the front.

im loving this new body style.....i cant wait until unsuspecting ricers roll up next to a grown up looking hatch and then gets their ass handed to them....

and why does that car look aspen white?!?!?!? i thought they discontinued that color....holy crap

BTW, ms3 vs wrx....not a fair fight.....put a wrx agaisnt a masda 3....yeah test that out......but it makes me happy that the new wrx is comparing to a ms3...the sti will kill mazda

The fenders look to be the same size as the black "camouflage" car. Looks like a wrx rear bumper, and no side skirts which is why it looks funny.

Although on second thought it might just be a hackjob fender "manipulation" to get it all to fit.

Good find. I like those wheels. Any pics of the tire size, front end of the car, rest of the interior, suspension?

the tires are sticking out quite far.. has to be a test mule with the actual STi getting wider fenders... the tires sticking out like that just looks too strange for that to be the final product

Sweet!!!

Are those fenders a dealer option, or do they give you an instruction manual

It's sooooo a test mule:

SI center dial
STI steering wheel looks completely different
Fenders were rolled by my cousin Steve
STI 6 speed (duh)
and no camouflage

I'll wait for the real pics in October

Totally OT, but Don Hertzfeldt is twisted and funny as Shiite.

ON topic, if that's the STi, then it's going to be the biggest sleeper around. Fugly, but a sleeper nonetheless.

+23 for the interior. Goodness that's great looking. The steering wheel is amazing. Screw the center console [ it's dull ] but that shift unit is excellent, too.

What... no navi?

This is definately a test mule... Just think about it

Subaru has been tight lipped about everything why would they leave a finalized STi in plain view with no camo. Those fenders look like **** too for it to be a finalized body.

my guess.. mule in WRX body also
