a horrible mistake.

but also, a good example of why it's all just down to marketing team and branding.

Why horrible?

Still want an answer, though.

Sure wish that would have been available here. A good bit more cargo space.

You think they don't see you here without a snitch?
You certainly don't see me posting "proof" either. I make my statements hoping people will believe me. They don't want to cause fanboi and all; but, I've never posted false facts. So.....

Are there parts on the prototype STI that are going to make it to the WRX? Is that why images of the abortion can't be leaked? Because it's stupid the car hasn't made its way on the internet by now.

I think we were very close to seeing those spy pics we love to see. Beyond that, I have zero doubt it's engine and transmission HAD been in cars just driving around. Hiding under the WRX body.

You can't see horsepower and torque in images. You can see exterior parts. That's why I'm asking what would Subaru have to gain by seeking retribution for someone leaking images of the car. Unless there are parts on the car you can see that Subaru wants to keep hidden for future release.

I dunno.

You quoted yourself lol. This is like a vortex spiraling out of control.

...Corporate espionage. If those pics are taken by an employee, given to the public, and released. That's multiple bad ideas.

(for the repeats)

Cause those pics are fully "internal". Dunno how to explain it. It's just they weren't to the stage to let out any info. And now that it's gone, I'm sure all that stuff has been shelved. My curiosity would be would they ever display the prototypes at the Gunma factory "museum/display"? I'm 90% sure they wouldn't. It's gone. On to the next one. Whatever it may be.

And reading through various tweets.
the last EJ20 used for the 24h race was heavy modified (closed deck, forged pistons). makes me think the FA24 24h race engine received the same treatment. basically i don't think we can assume anything about the production street FA24 just because the same engine code is used in the 24h race.

Do we have any update on when they'll be adding crossbars or an Audio+ upgrade to the Wr-Hikingboot accessory list?

Does it even matter anyways? Not directed at you but everyone crying over this. Why does it matter? The car will never see the light of production day. So just let it go. It doesn’t matter. Boobaru killed off the model in what March or April? Stick a fork in it, it’s done.

Yeah we want it to see the light of day. Or at least see what if any differences they made to the exterior. Or if they kept it troll level polarizing.

oh and for good measure

From the markings on the license plate, I'm gonna guess Norway.
