I am REALLY glad I don't live near you.
Have deep pockets, most police will be more than happy to supply autographs.
Sound does not make a car faster, other than parked when fines for noise overwhelms your gas budget.

Newbie section or not......why?!?!

Take a cordless drill and drill a bunch of holes in the exhaust pipe just ahead of your muffler. Or replace the muffler section with a straight pipe. Or just remove the entire exhaust aft of the downpipe.

Look up the 2015 WRX/STI exhaust thread in the General section. Not the same generation as yours, but should give you a good starting spot.

Do you know what kind of Invidia exhaust system you have on your "2013 subaru?" Invidia makes quite a few different systems. Someone with a q300 looking for more volume may for example opt for an Invidia r400 or the even louder N1. There are also heaps of other brands with comparable products. Look around and you'll see the same few reputable brands recommended to other users.

Naturally aspirated cars like an Impreza will typically be louder than a turbocharged car like a WRX, and so I wouldn't rip the muffler(s) off of one if you value your hearing and driving record. If you're looking for good old fashioned Subaru sound you could look into unequal length headers, which give Subarus that traditional rumble sound.

You could see if your midpipe has a resonator and if it does, swap it out for an unresonated one or pay an exhaust shop to fab you up some pipes for a couple hundred bucks. Some WRX and STI drivers swear by Nameless or Remark muffler deletes as a cheap way to get a louder sound but the even cheaper option is to turn down your music and roll down the windows.

My two cents. You own a WRX hatchback. The louder the exhaust, the more drone you'll suffer through on the highway. Slap a single exit Invidia N1 or mufflerless catback or axleback on your car and you'll hate driving on the freeway. I own an STI sedan and I had a turbo back Invidia exhaust installed (Q300 catback and matching down pipe). The one time I folded my rear seats down to transport the stock exhaust home from the installer, I ended up with a pretty good headache after a short drive on the freeway.

Maybe you're less of a wimp than me. Just a warning from experience.

Have you discussed this with an exhaust shop? Do you know what the Db laws are in your state/area? I only ask because fines suck and inviting the local LEO to pull you over anytime they wish is even worse...

If you want more "noise" in general, there are other ways to open up the Symphony of Sube: Intakes, BOVs...etc...yes, they require tuning and dedication but they can also add some personal flair to your setup without annoying the bejeebus outta the neighborhood

Just my 2 pennies

oh...and LOL @car_freak

Catless down pipe to resonator delete to muffler deletes. Your car will never be loud as long as the cats and factory DP are on there. My bugeye wagon has Tomei UEL headers/UP to Invidia DP to a JGT500 catback and its not very loud at all even with all that.
