You dont have to really get the cut out. You can get a whole roll for cheaper off e-bay. I got more than enough to do all the rear lights for under $15CDN shipped to CANADA. Must be cheaper if your staying in the states. The graphic guy who install this for me said it was the perfect material for the job too. PM me if you want the ebay link.. I will try and dig up my ebay history for it! Last edited by bobola; 10-29-2010 at 05:21 AM. |

I might be interested in checking out a sheet of vinyl and cutting it myself if I can save a few bucks...

Oh wow, I'm super jealous. I ordered the same car in Dark Gray Metallic (on 10/15) and it won't be here for "8-10" weeks.
Thanks for sharing your pics. |

That's the wait I was quoted. But luckily there was one (in the whole country) that the dealer was able to trade for!

I was hesitating between black and white, and eventually I got white. Black is too hard to keep clean and the swirls are easily seen. But hell, black is really really nice with the OEM rims.

Apparently, the dealer in Stamford should have one soon though: http://www.stamfordsubaru.com/new-in...&SBprice=clear Either way, still looks great. |

Car looks great, I hope to trade my '08 for the new body style in a few years. I find the '11's are crying out for some 18" wheels though.

Those new wheels are far and away better than the ones that came on my '08.

Thanks for all the comments. I am really glad I waited for the '11 model to come out. The body work and new wheels look great!

^ you're telling me! My order originally specified that color, only to be told once the press release came out that we wouldn't get that color.

Four things for your thoughts: wheel spacers, rhino lined underside, clear bra the nose and rear fender arches, and mudflaps. Winters are harsh on our paint, you might as well make your car bulletproof. $500 can save you a lot in the long run, I wish someone had done it to my car when it was new, and they would have more than recouped the cost when selling it to me.
