Default I can't get my strut back on my car, help?

So I took out my strut/spring assembly to throw on some gf210s. I'm pretty sure I have the front ones in correctly and that they're not upsidedown, but I can't for the life of my get it back to put the camber bolts in. I tried using my spring compressor once I had it through the top but its no use. Its rubber pretty hard on that rubber gasket thingy behind the brakes. I tried both front springs and one seemed to agree more with the strut than the other.

In any event, if I can't get it this on tomorrow I'm going to have to call a flatbed in and take it to a shop to have it professionally done. If I do this though because I can't screw my bolts back in, are they going to be able to get my car on the flat bed without a wheel on without destroying the car? Is there anything else I should ask them to bring?

get the top in and hand tight the three nuts on so it won't drop on you
then take a decent size screw driver to put thru the bottom holes, pry on it to help aligning the top one.
MAKE SURE THE CAMBER BOLT GOES IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION< it will only going from one side.
IIRC the side that has oval hole in the flat orientation.

It may also be helpful to put a jack on the bottom of the nuckle. Jack it up to help you in aligning the holes on the nuckle with the holes on the strut.

I had to use a jack to line things up when putting the strut back on.

Make sure you have both sides of the car in the air at the same time while installing. IF you are working on the front at least have the front up in the air. Same thing with the rear, but make sure it is up in the air. If you have one side in the air and the other on the ground, the sway bar will push the knuckle up and make it difficult to reattach the strut. I have never had to disconnect a say bar to install a suspension on an impreza and neither should you.

Jacking up the knuckle helped quite a bit when I was helping my friend install his DSpecs.

I ran into the same problem this weekend. I worked on 3 struts on Sat. and waited until Sunday to finish the last one so I only had the front L side jacked up. Came off with no problem but I couldn't get it back on for the life of me (wouldn't line up). I finally decided to jack up the entire front and voila, sucker slid right in.
