Default Need Opinion on Removing Interior Bracket on 2009 WRX Hatch

Figure this is the best place to ask. I'm currently stripping down my interior for a full roll cage that will be going in in April.

I've removed all brackets from the interior, but there are two in question I'm not sure if I should go after. They sit in the rear quarter and bridge from the wheel well to the c pillar. They were used for seat mounts or seat belts, I forget, but I'm sure it's also providing some chassis rigidity.

With the cage going in I don't know if I'll need them since the cage may make up for the loss in rigidity. The car is being built for drag so I'm not overly concerned with adding a tiny bit of flex to the chassis.

I'll be asking my cage fabricator, just curious if anybody on the forums has dealt with these brackets/braces.

that part is definitely adding rigidity
how important who knows
probably more important in cornering when the suspension is pushing up on that area

Heard back from my fabricator. He recommends getting rid of them. Looks like I just added a couple more hours of spot weld drilling to my work list.
