What's the best site/shop to order a set of wheels from? Looking for SSR's or Works.

2018 stock height.

I am not interested in lowering or camber, stretch or rolling etc. Just want a more flush look(not poking) What's are my possibilities (wheel+summer tires) for 18" wheels

That one wheel costs more than half the people in this thread spent on their entire set.

Default WRX Wheels

The Varrstoen MK1s***65279; look really good on a 15 + WRX. They are reasonably priced at 200$ a rim

MAP has a video of them on an STI on youtube.

Video called : Subaru STi Stage 2 Package (2015+)

Any more pics? What are you lowered on and did you have to roll fenders to make this fit or stock fenders?

I’m on HKS Hipermax SP coils, rear fenders rolled, and 275/35 MPS4’s. More pics tomorrow if I get a chance to clean it.

This car made me get rid of my ZE40’s.

I found a set of Gram Lights 57CR on Facebook with tires 245/45/18 and the rims are 18x9.5 +38. Will I have any issues running them on my 17 WRX on stock height?

Why isn't 255/40 a more popular choice?

I've been researching tires for the past couple of months and 99% of the time its 18-9.5 +30-40 with 255/35. Wouldn't 40s offer better wheel protection as well as a smoother ride/ larger diameter to fit the wheel well?

In terms of stock height

245 is pretty stretched for 9.5's. I'd suggest 255 or reduce rim size

9.5 on 255/40 will rub, too tall of a tire for 9.5, you can run 255/40 on 9in rims with 35-45 offset, or 17in rims.

I just didn't like how going 255/35 is actually a smaller diameter. I don't plan on dropping or anything just want to fill my wells a little better and get more flush aka +35-40 ish offset. So a 9 inch and 255/40 35-45 offset will be fine stock?

Or should I just keep my 245 40s? And get 8.5s

My old winter wheels were 17x9 + 48 and I barely rubbed with a 245/45 r17 (same size as the 245/40 r19). It only happened when pushing real hard or passengers in the rear and it wasn't enough rubbing to damage anything. Sat pretty flush. I run 255/40 r18 on the factory wheels, doesn't help your want for more flush but it does fill up the wheel well more and doesn't rub.

Ya id rather be flush than fill. Both would be ideal but I just don't like how my car looks front directly in front. In the back it looks good with my rokblokz sticking out.

That looks awesome! Rolled/camber?

I'm going to be stock height and don't want to roll or camber

I have 255/40 on my “winter” setup (BBS 18x8.5 +55). They don’t rub unless I put my 20mm spacers on. I think 255/40 on 18x8.5 +40-45 will be fine.

Car looks nice , however why did you go wider than stock for winter? 255 is pretty beefy for a winter set up
