Still pulls hard in 5th! I'm all for brake boosting. It's way more fun that rolling onto it! I think I have a couple videos with brake boosting back when I had the 5 speed.

Here's another video:

3rd Gear Pull @ 32psi (boost gauge goes wacky above 30psi)
2nd Gear Brake Boost, 3rd, 4th @ 30psi

50-100MPH is ~4 sec for the 3rd Gear Pull
60-130MPH is ~8 sec for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th Pull

Meh, it's not even 600 whp.

Totally joking. This thing is insanely quick and it doesn't look like it's coming to a stop anytime soon. I like the RPF1's also.

The 32psi pull plots out right around 600WHP in Virtual Dyno. At 29-30psi it is around 570WHP.

My first video with this setup was a 1st gear roll. In first it spools quite late so it's hard to see the speed but in the car it feels like getting rear ended. Lol.

I need it to get warmer or preferably go to the track to get a good launch video.

Just a minor roll in the rear. I really should get them all rolled flat. It looks really close on all the wheels. I only rubbed one time so far and it was a bump at 50mph with my wife and daughter in the car. I'm not sure what corner rubbed though...

Two updates from last night. First is that the WRX underbody/fender liner apparently doesn't like 130-140mph pulls too much. Mine ripped apart and was dragging under the car. I think the design catches air like a parachute and puts a lot of force on the plastic.

About half of this section was already broken off or worn away and the remaining part had a big crack in it. I attempted repairing the cracked part with zip ties and then secured it all to various points on the car with a few more zip ties. I'm not sure if it will hold or not.

After that I took the RPF1's off. It was a good run, but now the stock wheels are back on.

"It was a good run..."

Are you getting rid of this set-up already?! Though I will admit I didn't like it as much as I had hoped; it still looked great on the car!

i dont think he's selling...the frigid minnesota tundra is about to drop about like foot of snow on them. RSRs dont do well in cold, snow, or ice. he went back to winter tires momentarily.

No, not selling. Sorry for the confusion.

It is indeed supposed to be a big snow storm coming through this week so I went back to the winter tires. Forecast is for 6 to 12+ inches in MN. In April! I was hoping the summer tires were on for good, but that much snow is just too much to try and risk it.

I guess I'll just have to open up that center diff and do some snow drifting and parking lot donuts. Lol.

Mine ripped loose at interstate speeds about a year ago. I have zip-tied them many times and in many different ways and they continue to tear loose. Good luck with that.

Well that sucks. Was it the driver's side? My passenger's side seems pretty secure. The driver's side was already cut due to my FMIC and had ripped out before. This time I just used a lot more zip ties. I hope it lasts, but I think you're probably right that it won't. I may have to buy some new OEM plastic and try to reinforce it before it's broken...
