I wonder what the BBS will look like for this year? Blue on gold will be a welcomed return!

I hope they don't recycle the wing from the GV.

If they can finally get rid of Satin White Pearl to make Crystal White Pearl, I'm sure they found time to redo the spoiler.
I just like that CWP could also mean "Chano Williams, Playa!" |

Haha at this point I've written off white as a color choice, seeing as the last two Subies have been SWP.
I'm ready to commit to paint swirls and scratches of black! |

But paint code for Crystal White Pearl is "K1X"! So gangsta! Although Crystal Black Silica is "D4S", which is highly ironic for my car. I think the Subaru FA20DIT engine is their own variant from Toyota's that isn't both port AND direct injection, only direct.

I'm surprised no one's talking about the WRX making 268HP, having a 6MT finally, or upgraded H/K stereo system...
Subaru has been locking out all the threads containing this info. I think AKIC is safe! |

Because the six speed they are using is not what is in the STi. It's a dumbed down economy version from the foresters and outbacks.
Power is good, especially from a 2L, no complaints. And the sound system is a nice and needed touch, but I still want to see what the interior finish is like. My favorite features are the d-shaped wheel and built in boost gauge. |

Already did!! I even quoted the picture in the other thread.

I have a bad feeling we will find little out about the STi at the LA auto show and will have to wait for Detroit. |

See, I have no problem in waiting for the Detroit Auto Show for them to do an STi unveiling.
To me it just means they want to make it something worth waiting for. Now what is that something? Who knows. Maybe it's nothing. But all I know is that it will be a great car, and I can wait for that. |

40% stiffer suspension over outgoing WRX, but only 9% stiffer than current Impreza? So current Impreza handles better than outgoing WRX.

Hahaha that's exactly how I feel about white.
I wish they would bring back more of a gray color, like the 06/07 models. Some of my favorite colors are the EVO gray and the BMW gray. |

While a shiny new WRX is nice, $38k can buy a lot more performance on the used market without taking a beating driving off the lot. Just a little different perspective

I always loved getting a new car.
All my off the lot experiences have been great. It's nice knowing that you won't have any gremlins lurking from a previous owner, especially in a performance car. Now that doesn't mean a good used car isn't worth it.. But knowing that every mile is YOUR mile on the odometer is something comforting. I guess another thing for me is that almost EVERY used car I have purchased has had major issues with it. |
