Ride height is 15.25" in front (raised 1") and 14.75" in rear (raised 0.5"). Undefeated for 1st place overall at every rallyx I've competed in with it. (only used that particular suspension 3 times, but it was definitely the best I've used) Currently retired from motorsports, & the STi struts have been replaced with 2007 WRX sedan struts for better ride quality. I took this photo after it got home from taking the top spot at the SCCA NE regional championship in Oakland Acres, VA this year. This is my favorite car ever.

The 99 RS is now on the 04 STi struts, with 03 WRX springs (no modified top mounts needed) - ride height is 15.25" all around.
That's a sick rally car!

i think the 500's make a HUGE difference over stock lighting. they may be the small guys in the Hella line up but they still throw alot of light for what they are. i'd be careful running 100w bulbs in the 500's though. you may crack the glass and/or melt the plastic housings due to the increased head from the 100w bulbs.
What about those wally-world 500ff's? (the non-german Hellas)

Are those any good?

Can't beat the price, and was thinking of putting them in the stock fog location.

It's been retired from rallyx now. I've turned it into a tarmac car (STS autoxer), with big bars (25/24), STi V5 struts, V6 Gymkhana springs, Group N bushings & mounts, and STi BBS wheels. It's a little over an inch lower than in that photo.

Now I have a blue 2000 RS sedan with 06 WRX springs, Tokico DSpec struts made for the WRX and 19/20mm bars. The Tokicos are like WRX struts at 5 turns from full stiff and STi struts at 4 turns from full stiff. They work very well on dirt & gravel, and are better daily driver struts with the adjustability. I haven't been rallyxing this year, but if/when I do, it will be with this car.

i don't have any experience with the ff's but the walmart near us also sells the non-ff 500's. I would assume they still would do well.
