Andrewtech + TurboXS SICK STOCK 2.0 w/Gt30r
Another Andrewtech Automotive, TurboXS tuned Rotated turbo monster. We put the car on the dyno and tuned it on race gas. Enought jibber jabber, here's the plot.
The car has a BONE STOCK EJ205 with a TurboXS Rotated GT3076R turbo kit with a .63 hot side. We built the car to see what a stock EJ205 will do before it lifts the head or pops the motor. Well, we didn't pop the motor but it made some crazy numbers. Big thanks to my co-worker Edwin (PacmanGSX) for swapping dyno spots with me to get this thing done, and of course an even bigger thanks to Jermaine over at TurboXS for getting everything dialed in and keeping my motor together. Here are some pics of my car as well.

Tranny? Awesome numbers, that is really amazing! I had no idea the stock motor could take that!

Looks like it takes a while to spool, but when it does it must hit really hard
Not the kind of power delivery I'd want for my scoob, but certainly impressive numbers. Good job guys |

Simply amazing, great work YOJI!
You Andrewtech guys are producing some down right incredibly built vehicles from high-dollar ballin show-cars to budget built daily driving monsters. Super nice work. I can't wait to get my TXS rotated kit too! Dude works at Andrewtech, what do you think (PPG strait-cut) PS: Might this be the highest WHP producing stock EJ205??? vp import. 32psi.
running ppg straight cut gears. i was tring to see if we could set some kind of stock wrx 2.0L record. i was astonished by the results. i had no idea it would make this much power. it is incredible to drive. it hits so hard. it is very streetable. my 20g setup was only spooling 300prms faster, but with the 30r i have much more power. mods: turboxs gt kit w/gt30r turboxs turboback turboxs boost control solenoid utec moddifed stock injectors walbro fuel pump tial 44mm ewg Last edited by fantabulous; 06-27-2007 at 11:17 AM. |

Awesome build guys...I'm very interested to see some longevity tests with a set up like this...I'm trying to max out my big 16g set up before I go rotated, maybe this'll convince me otherwise! I'd guess this'll be an easy low 11 second setup if not better. Any chance on pump gas numbers for daily driving. I'm guessing the spool and streetability will suffer a fair amount with pump only simply from the lact of the higher boost induced torque? But I'd guess even on pump with 22psi or so, this car'd still be plenty fun!?
Please keep us informed...I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in pushing their 2 liter past what most believe is possible. And definately give us some real track numbers when possible. Awesome guys! Trey |

^I was just thinking the same thing. What kind of mileage is on that motor? I'm at almost 66k on my 2.0L and just did a vf34 in the last 5000k miles. I really want to go bigger. I'm starting to believe more and more that its all in the tune and these motors are better than people give them credit for sometimes. I think people have just gotten better at tuning and can make great numbers but still be safe about it.
Awesome numbers man. I bet once boost comes on it's a rocket. Should easily be good for 11s with the ppg box. |

Man I can't wait to get my tune on race gas..
I have almost the same setup and am just shooting for 24 psi on race gas and i want to hit around 380-400 whp. My daily tune is a moderate one at 16psi on our crap gas (91 octane) and i am hitting 311whp. You just made me call my tuner and change the date of my dyno for race gas and moved it up a week so here i come Friday.... |
