Every single time I quoted numbers of available WRXs around me in the SF Bay Area, over 95% of these cars were on lots.
So, again, we need to stop generalizing and we need to take into account that some regions in the country and some dealerships have pretty good numbers of WRXs sitting on lots waiting for customers.
And, yes, these WRXs get sold quickly enough; they don't stay on lots for an unreasonably long time.
Going back to thill's point, there are extremely few Elantra N, GTI, GLI, Golf R or Civic Si on lots around my part of the country.
