Default my new tranny sti ra limited 4.44 dccd

just got to drive my car around today for the first time with the new tranny in and this thing makes all the difference in the world. it was a cold day today and i took it out for a quick straight line mash and chirped the tires hitting third this was with the setting all the way down on the dccd knob but not till that last little click. so i take it out tonight and put it all the way and past the click it was a little damp out so i hit 2nd kind of hard taking a left turn and the car got sideways , i hit third and it straightened and went back the other way ... anyway bottom line is this tranny is pimp and i would recommend it hands down. im still experimenting with the dccd to see how much of a majority of the power goes to the rear. that will be fun.

Santa Rosa... I have a friend that lives up there... I stayed up there one time, bored out of my mind. You know any little white washed japanese guys living up there?

5 or 6 speed? You'll break the 5 speed gears before the axles.

With the 4.44 gears there a lot less stress on the trans gears. These trans tend to last a bit longer. I also had a Sti 4.44 trans. First drove it in the rain with dccd connected, the rear slide out on me in 4th gear at 60mph!! It was much better after connecting the dccd.

wow slid out at 60 it is a 5spd can someone tell me exatly what the settings do when it is all the way up the car doesnt want to turn in tight circles because it is locked in more im hoping someone here has or had this same tranny and can explain to me how it works and what setting to put it on so most of the power goes to the rear and what ratios can be seen. thanks-norm

Without the dccd ecu hooked up, 65% of power goes to rear wheels. I also had a R180 suretrack diff in it, a little better than the wrx diff.

P.S- that is the longest sentence i have ever seen
