Cameron of Camtuning. His name on here is "06rexwagon" or you can get ahold of him via his website: http://www.camtuning.com/
He kinda runs a monopoly on tuning out there. |

Does anyone know his number because on the site it only has email information. I'm sure his shop has a number since it is so popular.

I wouldn't go to cam. I honestly don't think he tunes cars to ther full potential. Or correctly. Many cars come out of their and then have a spun rod a few thousand miles down the line. Try to contact scotty from motiva

I have had my wrx running on Cam's tune for 3 years from 108k-130k right now at 18psi on a blouch td05-16gxt. It put down 307hp 289tq and I have never had any problems at all. Cam tunes just fine. Super easy to get along with. My car put down about 15hp more than similar bugeye wrx with similar mods.
Sti tmic Witch hunter mod stocker 840cc 255 fp Turbo inlet Post maf tube Full turbo xs turbo back. Stock air box Tmic silicone hose Manual boost controller I made this thread originally and I will stand by my choice to have Cam tune my car. I will be having him tune my full wrx swapped 2.5rs here in the next month. Chris |

Absolutely do not go to Motiva in Albuquerque..
Looks like they have a clerk named Leroy who is will say any and everything to get customers at this point. This kid, being so young, has absolutely no morals whatsoever. We went there, and dropped off our car for two days? It was there for 2 weeks. The tech who WAS there, that we depended on? Left, with about 3 or 4 others. The owner likes to park his car right in the front where people can see it. A white BMW.. So folks, can "think" that, THAT'S the type of clientele they're seeing.. It's actually a slap in the face, or the middle finger, to every sucker who's ever walked in there, paid their money for repairs, and came out with more problems. Oh, don't be fooled by the 'life time warranty" on their parts. If they depend on that weasel of a clerk to lie to the customers? The owner doesn't sound any different. From what i gathered, he'll blame whatever happens to your car on you, and drive off in that BMW with no f**ks given.. And sleep well at night.. Another ploy they use? They are affiliated with Armagedon. If a customer calls them for a domestic car, their clerk will up-sell Motiva saying they're "great", etc. Knowing full well, they are lying their butts off. Read the google reviews, and i noticed that some of them are written by the employees who probably aren't even there anymore. Read the Yelp reviews, and there's someone who's watching them to rebut whatever the customer complains about. Even if the customer sounds like they know their stuff. If you catch Motiva's clerk in a lie? He will lie to cover the lie he just lied about. Cool as a cucumber. Sad part? He likes to hear the sound of his own voice, and believes his own bull sh**t.. His excuses sound great only to him. While the customer is looking at him just spout off gibberish to cover his butt. He looks like a rat, and absolutely conducts himself like one. And i guess the owner loves it.. because that rent gets paid every month. You have to pay for the parts up front, before the parts even arrive. They make it look as if they are ready to work on your car immediately? And that's when you realize, they lied about the parts not even being there. Looks like the place has a revolving door for techs on the domestic side.. Last time i talked to a local, i'm hearing that last one that's worth a poop, was on his way out the door.. |

And what vehicle did you bring into Motiva?
Just kind of curious what vehicle dropped off at Motiva?

They filed for bankruptcy back in November. Shop on Montgomery and Louisiana looks empty. They filed for chapter 11, but the latest thing in the docket deals with chapter 7, which would be liquidation of assets if correct, I believe. If you google a bit, it sounds like the owner was behaving badly... appears their final undoing was a Hummer that they messed up, were brought to court, and ordered to cough up $300k, then tried to shuffle assets to another company owned by the same person and declare bankruptcy...
