Default Did some light off-roading. I think I'm hooked. What upgrades should I make?

I don't really know exactly where to turn for more information. I'm hoping to get pointed in the right direction.

I'm pretty sure I'll be adding tow hooks and a skid plate. What other off-road inspired add-ons/upgrades should I make?

Thanks in advance!

Upgrade to a Tundra

Rock warrior package.

Off roading in a 2 year old street car = SOA laughing in your face when you take your rally dreams too far.

Just make sure you stick to keeping it light off-road. if you had a 2001 impreza id say go crazy, but with a 2011 that could serve you for another decade id say go easy on the off road.

I think appropriate tires are imperative.
also think about a light bar, mudflaps, and a lift kit would help.

i say get an older car to off road or get something ment for that honestly.

but if you absolutely must off-road this car then tires are the most important thing off the get go. if you go alone to off-road, then a winch is a very nice thing to have because you will get stuck eventually.

Check out dirtyimpreza.com. Most of the people here are anti off-road because they are afraid of hurting their cars.

Please heed the advice here though, as abusing a 2 year old car can become expensive. I know its fun but there just might be a cheaper way to do it.

A Porsche 911 is a great rally car too, but not the most economical.

honestly if I were you id just do maintanece to your wrx and nothing else

if you want to go off road get your self a first gen impreza swap over to the first gen forester suspension and you should be good from there if you need something stiffer get gr2s and run ground control springs to max height.

but it is your car so if ur dead set on going off road with your car get the smallest rims you can get a nice skid plate for up front and your rear dif, dont get a light bar because you shouldn't be donig this at night with your car and how low it is and up grade your suspension to some blistiens and don't get to ambitious because you don't see any subaru rock crawling so why try it
