Default Remote start on cold mornings causes CEL

So on my 2015 WRX if the morning is colder than 50 degrees it will only start the accessory power but not the engine and itíll cause a temporary Check Engine light. I can physically start the car no problem with the key right after but itís weird to me that it only does it when itís colder than 50. The code it throws is U0073 which is the control module communication bus. Not sure what to try before bringing it somewhere.

I suspect you may have a faulty comm bus connection. The bus uses two wires to send signals between modules. The colder temperatures are just enough to possibly break the connection. Just moving the proper connections may fix the trouble. Here is a link that may help you understand things better.
