I can't wait to hear them! So this is my first time doing anything like this and right now I have the fuse box in the fender but seeing that this will be a DD I'm concerned about blowing a fuse and needing to access it quick. Now I know the best thing to do would be to put it in the car some where. But I thought about making some sort of bracket to put the box in the same spot as the fog light so I could just pop off the cover and access it. Any thoughts?

Also..... Mani and TGVs are done at powder coating!!!

Found the place to mount my fuse box. I need to extend the wires about 5-6 inches just to be safe and also trim some of the bumper and few little corners so that i can get the fuse box cover on. But this is where its gonna end up, this way I can take out two bolts, pop the head light out and access the fuse box fairly quick if needed. I'd like some feed back on this idea if you guys can. positive and negative is fine with me. I'd rather know if I'm making a stupid mistake

Thanks! Wish I could take credit for it all lol. Dangerousatom is the one that did the tgv delete for me and sent it all to powder coat at LPC down by Philadelphia somewhere. He does some awesome work on the side though according to his build threads.

No write-ups - just lots of posts in here and some other engine bay thread. As painful as it sounds, best bet is just to read through everything, learn by doing, and asking for help when you need it.

I've been reading through this thread for the past couple nights as well as staring and staring at pictures. This is the first time I'm doing anything like this but its really not that bad. Just have to think about it and have patients with it. Only thing holding me up is my ABS but I think I'm leaving that for now. Most people are really helpful too.

I swear half the difficulty is just taking the time to figure it out... and then taking the time to get it done - so time consuming!

So far, outside of researching on here, I have about 15 hours in the the tuck/shave job. So raw right now, many many hours left to get it right.

Yes!! ha. I go out and stare at the car, then I come here and stare at pictures and read, then I do it all over again, then I take a picture of my car and stare at it while I compare it to stuff on here. It's never ending! Yupp I figure I have about 10 solid hours just pulling junk off the car, moving stuff around, and whatnot. I'm not even shaving anything at the moment.

That's a shame, I was wondering what engine hardware he was using, pistons, injectors , turbo, ect ect.

Here's a really bad photo that I took in the pitch dark.. but it gives you a bit of an idea of the new setup. Lots of polishing to do in the spring

I'm trying to get a couple of more photos, but the car has been put away for the winter.

Got my manifold back today. Here's a little mock it up. I think I'm gonna flip the fuel rails so the lines run out front cause they do not for very nice by the turbo. And don't mind the Gatorade bottle, it was catching power steering fluid but I have a steel braided line for the PS pump now. Also the td04 is coming out and a VF30 going in.

Here are some more engine bay shots. I'll get some good quality shots in the spring when I get everything all polished

Looking good! What kind of reservoir caps are those? Project Mu? Is there any other company that makes caps, blue wouldn't flow with my car and I can't find any other ones.

Believe it or not these 8mm spacers are giving me a ton of room to hide wires under the manifold. Serve a damn good purpose too.

Mini Keg for the washer fluid reservoir. Need to make some brackets for it. And to whom ever asked for a DIY on this I'll get one up asap.

It's a little big but it stands out so I'll take it.
