for all those that put a tt next to the cup holder...
did any of you put any finishing touches on the plastic around the timer to make it look good? it fits in perfectly there, but the rough, ugly edges of where the plastic was cut out for it are really bothering me.
i wanted to take some black silicon tubing and slice it down the center and wrap it around the plastic, so it would look kind of like a "bumper" for the timer. but, everywhere i go has only large black tubing and all the small tubing is clear. and i don't know of any paint that will withstand being sprayed on plastic and bent around without cracking. any other ideas on how to make it look nicer? thanks much.

Where have you looked?
Most auto parts stores will carry all sizes of vacuum line. That's probably what you're looking for. You could also probably use the black door-edge trim that is sold in the accessories section. |

Black Tube?
How about using something with a little more ingenuity...

I recommend just talking some sort of plastic plug and making it into a little bezel to hide the edge. I'm sure you could find something that would work perfectly at an auto shop or maybe Home Depot.
