Launch Control 3.12: Second to None
Watch the full episode. (Also on Driving Sports for Roku and Mobile.) The Lake Superior Performance Rally is all that stands between the Subaru Rally Team USA and perfect season in the Rally America Championship. Will Higgins and Drew pull off the season of a lifetime?

"a perfect season, doesn't tell the whole story.."
As in how it's the only "works" factory car in the field aside from the one event when Block and M-Sport had two WRC cars in the field, and the couple that had Travis there in their previous spec works car. Tons of respect for Subaru, and Higgins as a driver; but it's hard to watch a dramatic edit chronicling the season when a privateer group N STi is 2nd in the championship. I say a perfect season is more than impressive in any series, but the most impressive part is how the car performed and survived to do so.. Of course that feat is in combination of a solid driver/co-driver team and service crew, but this series is still so very low on competition.. It's too bad Rally America can't pull in more real teams and drivers. The stages are proper enough, though the production and mktg/exposure are terrible. It's almost impossible to gain the interest of international drivers or teams to commit to the travel and commitment. If that were to happen it would unfortunately end Subaru's dominance in the series as drivers gained knowledge of the stages.. |

Nick Roberts team got a few podiums right up there with Higgins this season. Block wasn't even competition this season because he dedicated this year to GRC.
And we already know the reason why Subaru isn't dedicating anything to WRC. |
