Default Repair manual?

I have a friend who's got a really nice manual for his Bimmer that tells him how to do just about everything to it. Last summer we replaced some parts inside a door, we changed the fuel pump and filter. I was just wondering if there was a book like that for the 2.5RS? THanks

Default Service Manual

There is a service manual for the '02 WRX. It's 7 or 8 volumns and runs around $300. (you can avoid 1 of the 8 if you don't need the nonturbo Impreza). See some of the vendors on this site or SOA.

it depends on the year... i know that form 1993-1999 the manual was added to each year... which means if you own a 99 then you have to buy the 1993,1994,1995,1996,1997,1998 and the 1999 at $200 to $300 each... so i think around $1500... but in 2000 2001 and i think 2002 they have one per year so 300 each

doesnt matter what year you have....

you will need to buy 3-5 shop manuals for each car...
that's just the way they do it i guess...

If you don't think you need the full shop manuals (they're pretty nuts IMHO), the Bentley and Chilton manuals are both pretty good. I have a Chilton right here for the '85-'96 Subarus that covers just about anything the average enthusiast would want to do with the car. Sure, it doesn't cover the procedure for redoing valve clearances and stuff, but most people don't need that. They need general step-by-step maintenance info.

Grab a Bentley manual or a Chilton manual... both are available online, you'll have to search I guess.
