Default Why is everything always "extreme"?

Everything is always "Extremely good" or "Extremely bad". Extreme this, extreme that. WTH? People never say "This cerial has a mEdIoCr3 amount of calcium in it!!!!" It's always "Extremely high in calcium" or CDs with "ExTrEmE write speed capability!!!" Everything has to be the best of the best.

So I'm going to have an ExTrEmE week. Everything I do is going to be EXTREME no matter what it is. This morning, for instance, I took an EXTREME crap!! Funny thing about it tho, it was pretty huge. I dunno about EXTREME, but I'll still say it was. then I had some EXTREME oatmeal. now I'm d/l'ing some EXTREME internet updates from microshaft. Soon I'm going to have some EXTREME chinese food. Then I'll do some E><7r3/\/\3 slacking.

I'll see if my life is all the better for having done everything in an EXTREME capacity, as the advertising agencies would have me do.

-IggDawg (to the EXTREME!!)

because it's marketing...someone was extreme somewhere at sometime, got some attention out of it, then every ad agency/marketing dept./etc. latched on to it...and we all know if something is good, a lot of it is better.

seriously, it's terrible...i design for a printing company, and most of our clientelle is about 2 years behind the curve, so all this XTREME stuff is new to them...however, it makes my job easy.

if i feel like a total tool after designing something like that, it sells TO THE XTREME!!!
