Default Rant - why is everything low carb?

Why does everyone seem to think that going low carb will make you thin? The tortillas at the supermarket are $1.69, but the magical "low carb" variety is $3.69. Bread is low carb. How the **** do you make bread low in carbohydrates? That is similar to making fat free bacon.

NEWS FLASH - Get your fat ass around the block to loose some weight. Companies are raking it in big off your stupid ass buying the lowest carb beer/bread/milk/sausage/chips/bananaphones.

Whats funny is seeing stuff like 'New low carb hamburger!'

No crap! ITS BEEF!!! NEVER WAS ANY CARBS IN IT!!!

Most 'Low Carb' stuff has too many carbs to fit in an effective ketogenic diet anyways.

Really i feel sorry for people that buy all that stuff.

I was on my way out to the mountains for a 3 hour bicycle ride along the Blueridge Parkway and I stopped at a drugstore before I got there...

I wanted to buy a Clif bar or perhaps some other powerbar type thing.

All they had was freaking low-carb snackbars. Dammit. I want the maltose. I want the carbs. I want the calories. I'm about to go burn off 4000 calories on a hard ride i don't need some low-carb bullpoop!!!

I had to settle for some Luna bars... I felt my wang fall off and turn to labia when I ate it.

(j/k - luna bars are actually really tasty and do everything powerbars do)

I prefer Gu or PowerGel or some other easy-to-digest carb supplement... I just use the stuff during the ride to keep energy levels up.
And then after the ride, I try to eat chicken, pork, or beef... something high in protein.

Screw the low carb crap. Stuff that says sugar free is usually low or no carbs anyhow, yet it's a helluva lot cheaper.

BTW....I'd rather be down wit dis ish.
