Is Aerosim still in business? I keep on calling Steve and I can't reach him.

You're not the only one that would like to know the answer to that question as well. They really do make exceptional pieces with extraordinary craftsmanship. I've heard murmurs of them lurking around still. Would love to know if they're true or not.

Peace

Yup Steve is still around. I just picked up a carbon WRC kit from him earlier this year.

It can be difficult to get a hold of him, making Subaru parts isn't his primary business, he does a lot of Aero R&D for other companies as well as Engineering work.

He installed my exhaust on my first Subaru. I think he also ended up giving that stock exhaust to some dude.

Seems to be a one man show but I hope he's still in business.

A little bit my fault. I told him I'd pick up the stock exhaust in my other car and a few weeks later when I called, they'd apparently installed it on some other dude's ride. I just let it go as I was still living the high from the Borla Hush exhaust.

Then I got an STI and really forgot about the exhaust at that point.

Really? Bumping a three year old thread for no real reason?

You should know better...

And yes, Steve is still in business...

Legit as in having at Least 7 back ordered kits for a year or more, not making any of them yet, and working on aircraft parts in the meantime, and not returning emails for FIVE MONTHS to customers who paid in full 10 months ago.. Then yah ‘they’ are legit... bet he loves the free advertising and those who want to pat him on the back for a job well done though. Wish we could all run a business this way!

there are also followers in other groups like this one. EMD auto comes to mind for german cars. alot of similarities in business traits with both owners, some of what you have already mentioned.
