Canadian press release: 2021 Subaru Crosstrek: https://www.newswire.ca/news-release...875731707.html
The Crosstrek Outdoor is equipped with a 2.5-litre direct-injection Subaru BOXER engine for increased power and enhanced capability. Providing 182 horsepower and 176 lb.-ft. of torque and coupled with dual-function X-MODE The Crosstrek Outdoor also owns several select design elements including, front grille accent, exterior mirror caps, badging, fog light cover accents and a shark fin antenna - all with gun metallic colouring. On the inside, the Outdoor has yellow and gun metallic trim accents, yellow stitching and all-weather soft-touch seating surfaces. Plus, more noticeable is the unique and aggressive side cladding, dark grey painted 17-inch wheels, and an optional Plasma Yellow Pearl exterior colour - exclusive to Crosstrek Outdoor. Choice of Eight Trims The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek is available in eight trim levels in Canada: Convenience, Convenience with Eyesight, Touring, Touring with Eyesight, Outdoor, Sport, Sport with Eyesight and Limited. Additionally, the Touring and Sport trims add the comfort of a heated steering wheel, while the Limited trim also gets the new 2.5-litre direct-injection Subaru BOXER engine. So,based on current trims and the above, it would look like (speculation on my part): -Convenience: 2.0, CVT or 6MT base trim, small Starlink; -Touring: 2.0, CVT or 6MT, adds fogs and heated steering wheel+seats; -Outdoor: 2.5, CVT, probably with a Touring trim + playmobile decorations (as stated in the press release); -Sport: 2.0, 6MT, LED headlamps, sunroof, larger Starlink; -Sport w/eyesight: 2.0, CVT plus eyesight and all of the above; -Limited: 2.5, CVT and all the bells and whistles (moonroof, eyesight, satnav, LED headlamps...). Final piece of info: I emailed Subaru Canada asking about the 6MT and the FB25. Their answer: " No, this engine and transmission combination is not offered at the moment. " |
