Spotted a Black forrester, lowered on black wheels with red lip, exhaust and full window tint. Looked and sounded great.

Hey...just bought a 02' bugeye wagon not too long ago...it was half way set up for auto-x it appears...am in the process of converting back to a street setup as it is or will be my daily driver. Anyways im from the flint area and would be more than willing to drive across state and meet some new ppl and make some friends with some subaru knowledge as there is little to no interest in subaru's on this side of the state it seems...lol.

I was looking for some input on the whiteline roll center adjust kit if anyone has installed or driven a car on this set up. My car is in really dire need of new inner and outer tie rods as well as ball joints so i figure why not upgrade rather than just replace w/ those cheap moog parts or just OEM.

Car is lowered...i installed koni inserts w/ 05 donors a few months back w/ the crucial racing springs as well. No other suspension mods have been made to the car...i am probably also going to be installing whiteline endlinks while i am at it and was considering front and rear sway bars as well. One of my front end links appears a bit blown out so that is why i was replacing those...sways are not really a priority atm.

I understand the concept of the roll center adjust kit and was mostly wondering if the car being as low as it is will have any negative effects on the performance of this kit??

Research anwered my own question...as suspected these kits were designed to improve the drastic change in a car's geometry from lowering it. I am ordering a whiteline kit this weekend...install w/ pics soon to follow...

=D

Weeknight meets are doable, glad we didn't have one last night with all the drama going on though.

Wish I could have made it too, but had a prior commitment with family. Wouldn't have been there til like 3:00.

Nice Pic!!!

I'm down for weekly meets around 7ish. Anyone ever go to the Filling Station on Alpine in Comstock Park? It's owned by Mr. Burger. Car themed and similar food, but a little more expansive menu. No beer though.

What do you mean? The hoodscoop is stock on that car. Here is a pic of it from when Adrian had it for the day.

edit: Looking at it again it looks strange b.c of where the dune flag is cutting across the scoop lol

Anyone here willing to help me with some OpenSource tuning?

My cars running terrible and I donno what's up...

My former tuner doesn't seem to want to talk to me anymore, so I'm in need of something...

The car idles rough and bogs upon throttle input, unless I'm moving along... If I blip the throttle to downshift, it wants to bog/die/backfire

Underway, it seems ok at times, other times it seems like its hunting for power, like the ignition timing is going all over the place..

I'm set up with Learning View, RomRaider and ECUflash... have emailed screen captures and flashed ROMs myself and whatnot..

For the car running so bad, it gets great gas mileage.. ??

Has it always ran like this? Or is it a more recent change?

Have been hearing about this car for months and finally it appears to be for sale. Stock rear diff, stock brakes, lots of other stock Subaru stuff too. Heard that it was stuck in 1st gear for a while with a stock Subie trans. Might still be b.c it says it needs some stuff followed by "NO Test Drives" LOL
