Default do I need new gear set?

I just purchased all my stage 4 stuff and exedy 3 puck clutch. Do I also need new gear set or will ste stock hold up? I was told that it won't but I need advice. I don't really drive hard ( high rev launches) but If I have to get a new gear set now would probably be the time. Anyother stage4's out there having problems with stock tranny? heres what I have so far. performance wise.

i ran my stg 4 for about 65k w/ no problems, but i didnt upgrade the clutch, that will be your problem if you have one. also thats w/ me cutting consistent 1.8 60s at the track. i didnt beat it but i did have fun.

the way I see it, the clutch would go before the gears. ( i might be wrong) That's why I did the clutch. From what I heard on the forums this clutch handled pretty close to stock. Nothing is installed yet. I just wanted adive before install since it would be easier with the tranny already out to put the clutch in.

Any puck type clutch is a bad idea with a stock drivetrain behind it. Puck clutches have more of an "on-off" characteristic vs. a stock disc which allows for slippage. The added shock will not be friendly to the trans, besides which the car will be unpleasant to drive on the street with that clutch even if you do upgrade the trans.
This has been discussed previously many times, if you search for threads with "puck clutch" I'm sure you'll find plenty of info.
