Getting ready to lower my 00' Foz. Did a few things to it, swapped shift boot for WRX boot and knob. Have a set of WRX springs and front struts... just waiting on rears. My roommates silver '02 is lowered with WRX all ready. Here are some pictures!

Anyone have experience with steering wheel hub adapters for a 99 forester? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find anything.

04-07 STi intercooler is the best fit, newer ones will fit but it's more work. Also, the silicone elbow going from the stock td04 outlet into the intercooler ypipe isn't long enough, a vf39/48/etc has a longer outlet. So either some fancy loosening and moving can be done, or you can buy a 90 coupler and cut to fit (do this option)

Btw, so I've been in the Subaru community for about 5 years. I've owned swapped 2.5rs, WRX, STI, coupe, sedan, and wagon. Picked up my first Forester over the summer. Love it.
It is a gold 2004 Forester 2.5XT with 113,xxx miles and a 5sp manual. When I first picked it up it was bone stock aside from a Cobb SF intake, Cobb turbo heat shield, and a Cobb Accessport: Current situation: I went a little crazy in the first month or so of having it. VF48, 07 STi topmount with all new couplings and clamps, GFB TMS Respons adjustable bov, Perrin turbo inlet, Cobb postMAF, Grimmspeed uppipe, Cobb downpipe, TurboXS 3" ss catback, custom tune, Cusco strut bar (pulled from my bugeye), Cusco radiator cooling plate.... probably more. Then I found a good deal on 04 STi complete struts, and for some reason I like the two tone foresters so I two-tone plastidipped it. I have JDM STi 4-pot brakes for it as soon as my Brembo's are ready to go on the bugeye, and I'm shopping 18x9.5 wheels currently. Sorry for the long post. |

army21b, car looks great. I really need to paint the supports of my V7 scoop black so it looks more factory like yours.
On a side note, here's some rolling shots of my car from last night. I had my buddy drive so I could shoot. |

Traded in my 2007 Scion tC for a 2011 Subaru Forester 2.5x a few months ago. Added Stock foglights (independently wired thanks to a thread here), Sti catback. Debadged minus the forester name and the lil green leaf.

From stock wheels and tires it was 27 1/4 off the ground from fender added the 19x9.5 40 30 series tires it made it drop to 26 inches. thats why the tires don't really work, but it was a test fit and these are a square setup from a brz that ravspec owns. Ravspec Deer Park NY 631 865 3520 help me test fit the wheels |

|crazyazn|, your Forester looks awesome! The wheels look spectacular. I would prefer a bit more sidewall, but you did mention that the original fitment was from a BRZ/FR-S. Nonetheless, the Forester looks superb!

Yea you know how scary the car feels with 1 inch lower and thinner tires lol.... I don't think the tires were able to hold the weight lol
