Thanks, I'll have to look into those tires then.
I'm using Hankook Kinergy PT tires because they had the highest treadwear rating and were among the cheapest decent performing all seasons available when I was looking at tire rack. FWIW they do pretty nicely on dry roads, not terrible on wet roads but not great, and I haven't gotten to drive them in snow yet. It doesn't tend to snow in this area (Vancouver WA) until mid January at least in my experience, if it does snow. Which it doesn't every year. No ice on the roads yet either.
Although there are plenty of people out destroying the roads with their studded tires already of course.
