2002 WRX

Default Sold!!!

PRICE DROP! Asking $6999 obo
Just purchased the replacement (2011 Honda Fit Sport). Suby needs to go.

Selling my 2002 WRX WRB Sedan 5 speed with 188,xxx miles and counting.
I am the 3rd owner and purchased it April 2010 with 115,000 miles for $8500. I'm all about full disclosure and feel like this is a good starting/asking price for what is in the car and its value.

Price: $6999 or best offer
The Good
-STi JDM adjustable (small knob in factory location which moves lights up or down in 4 positions) projector headlights, scoop, grille, full 04 STi interior (door cards, seats, carpet), 06 STi Wing/Trunk swap (was wingless when I bought it)
-BC BR Coilovers (purchased Nov 2012 and installed, aligned, corner balanced by Innovative Garage) set to medium still and not super low, rear fenders rolled by Brody at Solid with heat gun (turned out nice)
-17x9 +35 Rota Grids White with 245/40/17 Hankook Venus EVO tires (lots of camber wear, flipped tires in July, need to be replaced, no fun in snow/ice)
-K/N panel filter with Cobb air venturi hooked to stock airbox
-SAMCO intercooler hose
-SPEC Stage 0 clutch at 100,000 miles and short shifter
-Cobb V1 Accessport Stg 2 91oct map
-Helix downpipe, catless up pipe, 3" turboback Cobb knockoff exhaust
-STi strut bars front and rear
-SS brake lines, Blue fluid, StopTech Sport kit (street pads, slotted rotors) installed Nov 2012 by Innovative Garage
-Timing belt, spark plugs, water pump done Nov 2012
-Other items fixed since I bought the car April 2010: new starter, battery, clutch starter switch, both rear hubs/bearing assemblies done Solid Autoworks, oil cooler seal replaced this year, coolant flushed and refilled
-New spark plugs Nov 2013, cleaned coils/connections
-New Subaru OEM fuel filter installed at Ziptie this week
-Leakdown and compression test done by Ziptie Dynowerks December 16th (this Monday) : Cyl 1: 140%/0%, Cyl 2: 140%/3%, Cyl 3: 140%/1%, Cyl 4: 145%/0%
-Motel 300 fluids put in transmission and rear diff every 35k (just did in Nov 2013)
-Full spreadsheet of mods and maintenance and what mileage the car had at the time since I've owned it
-Averaging 28.3 mpg during my ownership (I drive 22,000 miles per year from Farmington to Draper)
-No noticable oil burning, change oil with 10w-40 MaxLife semi-synthetic every 3-4000 miles
-Has passed smog/safety all 4 times I've tested it at Burt Brothers in Farmington (Davis County kinda sticklers for emissions I've seen)
-Oh ya, SYMS side and rear fiberglass lips (have some minor road wear, normal for miles on the car)
-Stock calipers, cleaned then primed and painted with a Gold high temp automotive paint (over a year ago, holding up nicely)

The Bad
-Fog light glass on both sides are cracked, so for now I'm rolling with the fogs removed (looks kinda cool heh heh, $130 to replace both on ebay)
-Minor dent in passenger back door, not very noticable, but its there. Was there when I bought it.
-Hood and front bumper normal rock chips (attempt at touch up paint, but only hides it ha)
-Started getting CEL P0304 (cyl 4 misfire) and P0300 (random misfire) this past summer and its been slowly increasing in occurrence. I'm seeing it every 100-400 miles, I'll clear it with the accessport and it comes back a few days later. I typically see it about half a mile from work or home after I've warmed the car up a few minutes just cruising in 2nd or 3rd gear around 2-3000 RPM. I've only felt a minor misfire that I could detect with feel or sound a couple times, most the time I start seeing the CEL flash or turn on and didn't feel or hear anything. Took it to Ziptie and Ryan plugged into the ECU with his laptop and saw 1.3 on the something something factor (tells you if fuel pump is stressed, working harder because of potential injector problem) and 4-5% on the injectors. So, it seems like the injectors and fuel pump (both factory as far as I know) are working fine according to Ryan. The leakdown and compression look great (results noted above). So, could be a false/spurious CEL. Plugs look good (#4 looked a hair richer (darker) than 1-3, but Ziptie said it was fine), coils were swapped and the CEL stayed at Cyl 4, so just cleaned them up really good with electronic components cleaner.
-Tires have about 23,000 miles and are done. Camber up front is about -2 degrees with 2mm toe out and worn as these tires are 280 tread wear. They're pretty sticky for a street tire, but they wear faster with the alignment.

Please email at [email protected], PM in NASIOC.com or text (801-725-4482) if you have any questions or are interested in seeing it/driving it. I'm a father of 4 and busy at nights with the family, so I would appreciate respecting that and only contact me if you're really in the market to buy a 2002 WRX.
