Default Brake light comes on and off but not low on brake fluid?

Ok I did some searching and now im just confused.

A couple weeks ago is when I first noticed that on hard acceleration, my brake light would come on and then go away. its the PARKING BRAKE light, not the abs light.

well since then its a lot worse. now it stays on basically the whole time and turns off for about a minute.

I searched and came up with the problem was lowbrake fluid.

I checked and im fine...just to be safe, i put a little extra in and it didnt do ANYTHING...

any ideas?

Handbrake has a switch too that would kick on that light, maybe it came loose? Do you have a Video screen, I think those are tied to the handbrake switch too.

Even though you may not be low enough on brake fluid to trip the light, while under hard acceleration, decel, or hard cornering, the inertia of the fluid will swish it to one side. This would leave part of the reservoir lower than the rest, throwing the light. I have seen this happen on several occassions. Top her off to the max mark and check it out, if this doesn't fix it, the grounded e-brake switch may be shorting out.

^^There should be no need to fill the reservoir beyond the maximum point. The only things I can think of would be low fluid or worn pads (when they get too thin the fluid level dips way down due to additional travel) so if those aren't a problem then it's probably electrical.
